About Bebettes: A New Orleans Coffeehouse
Bebettes: A New Orleans Coffeehouse is a French-Creole inspired breakfast and lunch cafe. Locals and out-of-state visitors know us for our mouth-watering French donuts known as beignets (pronounced 'ben-yay'). We make our beignets fresh per order and serve them warm with powdered sugar, chocolate, or cinnamon sugar. We are located in Downtown Asheville at the Grove Arcade off of Page Street. We welcome all visitors in our doors and invite you to try one of our classic menu items.
During COVID-19, we are following all state guidelines and ask that our guests comply with safety and mask requirements. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Iβve been desperately craving beignets for quite some time now and was so excited to find this NOLA based coffee shop in Asheville. The navigation kind of got us a bit lost since but we eventually made our way to it. Itβs a small coffeehouse with limited staff. When we arrived they had to go get more dough so there was a bit of a delay. We got both got to iced lattes and two variations of beignets. The skinny finger sized ones and the classic squared. I loved that they served in traditionally in a brown paper bag and you kind of shake them up to get all the delicious powdered sugar on them. It was my friends first time trying them so I walked her through it because it can get messy quick lol while it did take a bit long for us to get our order, the two staff members were working hard to get us taken care of and at least give us the coffees first. Both lattes were great and we sat in a cozy corner to enjoy everything.

Very cute eclectic shop, bench seating. Made fresh every order. We enjoyed the Lebanese Iced Tea and Madagascar Vanilla Bean Coffee to drink. Food wise we had the Basic and the Caprese beignets which were both unexpected combinations. The Basic came with crispy thick cut bacon, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese on a fresh beignet with powered sugar. The Caprese came with sliced Roma tomatoes, spinach, Buffalo mozzarella and balsamic reduction (no powdered sugar). Also order of classic beignets with chocolate dipping sauce that came in a bag smothered with powdered sugar. Fruit salad on the side which was refreshing. Breakfast wise it was generous portions, inviting environment and kitschy vibe. Family friendly, paid parking with minimal street parking. There is a parking deck around the way also. There was additional seating in Grove Arcade with was stunning as well. Service was impeccable!

Witnessed a situation today where a clearly homeless man came in and spread out drug paraphernalia on a table while paying patrons were eating and drinking coffee. The employee respectfully but firmly told him she had to ask him to leave. He tried to argue with her and claim he was buying coffee but he had no money to pay for it. Another customer tried to overrule the employee and buy him coffee so he could stay. There was drug paraphernalia all over the table where he sat and it was uncomfortable. I donβt appreciate the other customerβs actions, but I do appreciate the employee taking a firm stance and trying to maintain a safe environment. She was treated disrespectfully by this man and the woman enabling his drug use but handled herself with professionalism. The man wound up going back outside, and I left before the woman got her order, so I have no clue what happened. Iβm very shocked that a patron would want to enable drug use on the premises, but I am proud of the employee for standing up for what was right and would gladly have her back. This was uncomfortable for everyone in the shop, and I appreciate the employee wanting to protect her patrons and the business. I am very s

These are the best beignets I've ever had! The churro beignets and classic sandwich were amazing! My husband and I split the sandwich and were full at the end of breakfast. The staff are friendly as well. 10/10 recommend coming here, we will be back!
